Happy Autumn!

A couple of weeks ago my family went to a local pumpkin patch with some other families from church.  Not only did we all pick out pumpkins, but we got to play freeze tag for awhile in a super big corn maze!  After the maze, we all realized someone was missing.  Sören!  He was lost in the maze, but we found him pretty quickly!

We also participated in a pumpkin carving contest at our friend's house. This post will include a collection of photos of the fun times we've had so far this fall. Stay tuned...I might do another fall posting...hopefully before Christmas time arrives! :)

The pumpkin carving contest was the next week. We chose to carve my pumpkin for the event.  Although ours didn't win, we all had a blast.  We chowed down on a yummy chili dinner, caramel apples, pumpkin cake, and most importantly, enjoyed a fun time with friends!

Carving our pumpkin

Everyone's finished pumpkins. Ours is second from right (the cowboy with a wig).  We had a very creative group of pumpkin carvers!  The Seahawk pumpkin took first place!

Dad helped Sören, Lillian, and Esther carve their pumpkins a few days later. Sören's was HUGE!   Just to give you an idea, it was an inch or two thick and it took Dad quite awhile to finish carving it!

  1. I love the cowboy pumpkin! However, if you put Seahawks anything into a contest, it would most likely win.....lol.:)
