A Visit to Friday Harbor

On June 1st Mom and Dad decided to take us to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. We had free passes to The Whale Museum in Friday Harbor. It was also Jude's first boat ride on the ferry and he was very excited!  After the museum, we stopped at a little park for a picnic lunch.  Afterwards, we enjoyed ice cream (in the rain). Jude tried it and liked it!  Normally, when we'd offer him ice cream, he hated it!   I mean, who doesn't love ice cream?!?  But they do not eat very many cold things in China and he had never eaten it before coming home.   June 1st will be remembered as a day of firsts for Mr. Jude. :)
