Majestic Mount Rainier - Part 3

Overall , we had an awesome trip. The day after the hike at Sunrise,  we took another one, which we could access from our campground. Again, it was beautiful! Thank you God!

Here's a family photo of us by the campground:

Majestic Mount Rainier - Part 2

I'm SO behind on blogging about this trip! We have not had internet in a month.

One sunny day we took an awesome hike above Sunrise (parking lot 6,400 ft.) At one point, we were above 7,000, maybe 8,000 feet! We were definatly up there!!!  And of course, it was SOOOO beautiful!

On our way up to Sunrise, we stopped at a viewpoint where we could see Mount Adams, Mount Rainier & Little Tahoma Peak, Mount Baker, and many other high hills and jagged peaks.

At the viewpoint....

A while later, we embarked on our long awaited hike at Sunrise.

UP higher, higher, and higher

Mount Rainier and wildflowers

 Stopping a minute

Almost out of breath, we stopped at a small nice lake called Shadow Lake for lunch....

Sören packed his fishing pole on almost the entire hike and here he decided to do some fishing. No luck.
