The Great Canoe Trip

 Today my mom went out with some friends, so Lillian, Sören, Esther and I got to spend some time with dad.  He took us on a canoe ride. After awhile we had a snack break and played on the beach. It was an absolutely PERFECT day for canoeing! Even in the shade, it was about 70 degrees!

When we first started out on our paddle, we got to see a Canada Goose family! The chicks are so cute!

This evening Sören, Lillian, Esther and I decided it was time to begin summer by playing on our slip & slide. It was cold but we still had fun. 65-70 degree weather is summer for us northwest Washingtonians!

Peanut Butter Cookies

 A few days ago we had our friends the Gates over, and Lillian and Livy made up a recipe for homemade, delicious peanut butter cookies!

  Here is the yummy recipe:

  L+L’s Famous Peanut Butter Cookies
   Recipe by Lillian Shook & Livy Gates (5/1/2013)

*1 cup natural peanut butter
*1/3 cup coconut flour
*¼ cup pure raw honey
*2 farm fresh eggs

~Mix all together. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Yield approximately 1 dozen cookies. Enjoy!~

Time to start Blogging again!

 My mom wrote back in November 2011 that she was REALLY going to start blogging---and now I can see that she had only posted about 3 posts since then. She is a very busy lady! Yesterday, she and I agreed that I could take over the job. So I will to try to blog often.
