1 John 3:16

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and see his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth."

Haiti

I am restless about Haiti. We've been praying for little 6 year old Woodsley whom we sponser w/ Compassion. Is he wandering the streets alone? Did he survive? Did his parents survive? Has he been abused? Does he have food to eat? My mind wanders and once again I have to release him to Jesus. Maybe he is finally home with Jesus and has been spared much pain. We wait every day hoping to hear. Woodsley is just one of thousands...human suffering, particularly children suffering tears me up. I'm praying the Lord will do anything it takes to take our family out of this protective American bubble. Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful and thankful for our freedoms and this country, but Lord please use this little Tribe to bring glory to you by reaching out to those in need in the name of Jesus.
