Lake Wenatchee State Park - Part 1- The First Day

Lake Wenatchee State Park is such a wonderful place. It's our favorite place to camp because of well, everything! Tucked into the Cascade Mountain range, it's only half hour to the town, scenic Leavenworth.

The first evening was windy on the lake but that didn't matter....unless it was going to to be like that our entire trip. : )

Fun biking!

Fun with whittling!

Eeott & Papa's Farm - Part 6 - Cold Oregon Coast/Bunch Bar/Elk!

A week after our mini golfing experience, we headed west to the coast. It was breezy, foggy, and freezing (at Shore Acres State Park), which was a big bummer, but it was still pretty............

The rock shapes were cool

Gift Shop & Garden
Roses.....

On the way to Shore Acres, we stopped at an Elk Reserve. A group of bulls happened to be hanging out together not far from us. On the way back they were even closer......I love elk! Hopefully when Dad goes hunting he'll get one. When me & my family went to Yellowstone National Park in 2010, a bull elk bugled right in front of me! It was SO awesome!!!

They were this close!!!!!

At Bunch Bar........

Sören found this dead crawdad and that's all he played with! : )

Overall, we had a WONDERFUL trip and I want to thank Eeott, Papa, & Auntie Sharon for taking care of us and for all the fun activities we did! That only showed you a small glimpse of everything we did while staying at the farm......we can't wait for next year!!!!!!!! Thank You SO much!!!! ~ Grace

Eeott & Papa's Farm - Part 5 - Mini Golfing

As our first week came on our trip came to an end, we headed to Eugene to have dinner with our great grandma Pammy and show our skills at mini golfing.

My last time mini golfing with Eeott, Papa, and Auntie Sharon brought a funny beginning. It was my first turn and Eeott told me, "Hit it pretty hard." Well, I really thought that she meant HARD, because when I whacked that ball, it went flying through the fence, across the highway (a car ran it over) and stopped in front of a Ford truck at a car dealership. That was hilarious!

 Aim for the hole!.....
