"Mom, did Grammy love me best?"
I love the questions that come out of the mouth of my 4-year old, boy.
He never ceases to surprise me.
"Mom, why did Jesus heal Grammy in heaven and not down low?"
My response, "Do you mean, why didn't Jesus heal Grammy on earth?"
"Yup." (Spoken with a tone of, "of course, don't you get it?!!")
"We don't know why, buddy. Sometimes He heals on earth and sometimes He heals in heaven....but we really don't have to know why....Jesus just wants us to trust Him, no matter what."
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
"OK," spoken with a tone of acceptance and faith that this little 4-year old will trust Him...no matter what.
"I wish heaven was on our roof, so we could see Grammy every day." (Big smile on this little boy's face...a little boy, full of faith.)
